Media Relations Specialist

klikpr.co is a fast growing PR agency and is seeking a Media Relations who will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationship with media reps. Responsible for leading media outreach, such as pitching out stories, securing interviews and inviting media to press events.QUALIFICATIONS- 1-2 year's experience within PR and/or journalism- Cultivate and enhance collaborative working relationships within the press- Manage the flow of news of clients to the media- Gather and disseminate timely information to press- Develop relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure clients' exposure - Plan and oversee press events- Detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directly- From time-to-time a Media Relations may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed to get the best from the jobWhat it's like to work at klikpr.co:1.
