What you will doDevelop the sales pipeline and lead the sales opportunities in our medical softwareTake responsibility for sales pipeline development objectives and revenue targetsDefine and execute lead generation strategies to reach new potential customersUse consultative selling skills to address new potential customers, uncover their needs, and develop relevant business solutionsDevelop comprehensive sales proposals for projects that include software products as well as associated implementation and advisory servicesManage complex sales processes involving multiple internal and external stakeholdersReport to the Sales Manager of our medical business unit in JapanYour profileDegree in business, biomedical engineering, or relatedAt least 3 years of experience in sales and business development in a medical industry (hospital or medical device market)Experience with Materialise Mimics Innovation Suite or 3D medical modeling software is a plusThe key requirement: an enthusiastic, can-do attitude in a world of complex, project-driven salesGood sales empathy skills — the ability to identify with and understand the customer’s situation, feelings, and motivesStrong negotiation skills to influence our customers and prospectsAbility to close deals efficiently; strong networking skillsWillingness to exceed our customer’s expectationsNative Japanese speaker, proficient knowledge of English is essentialGood analytical skills, meticulous approach with a high level of attention to detailAble to communicate with people from different levels, both internally and externally, with excellent listening, coaching, and presentation skillsExtensive knowledge of current production techniques is a plusProfessional, self-motivatedEntrepreneurial and ability to work autonomouslyLocation and type of contractYokohama, JapanSales & Business DevelopmentFull-timeHybridAssociate
