He/she will provide medical and scientific leadership internally and externally. MAF Manager is a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patients’ treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which JnJ Baltics is involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other stakeholders) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart and partner.Through activities in line with the Medical Affairs Plan, the MAF Manager is jointly responsible for the realization of short-term and long-term company goals.Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesContribution to the development and implementation of company objectives and strategies in designated therapy area.To keep abreast of medical and scientific knowledge.Development and maintenance of a contact network with Leading Specialists.Proactive and reactive communication of medical scientific data to Leading Specialists and broader external health-care related audiencesOrganization and participation in Medical Education activitiesInitiation, organization and participation in Advisory Boards. Provision of scientific support to company Sales&Marketing department.Lead, support and manage Medical Affairs clinical activities strategy, planning, design and execution in close co-operation with GCO and CROs.Be Accountable for local implementation, retirement, tracking, and oversight of Additional Risk Minimization Activities.Representation of the MAF Manager role within the TA/BU and active contribution to the role`s further evolution: MAF Manager is a permanent & proactive member both of the Baltic Medical Affairs Team and the Baltic Country Value Team/Product team. Identifies and tracks own field activities using MSL’s key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure execution of in field activities....Essential Knowledge And SkillsScientific Degree: MD, PharmD or other relevant Life Science university degreeDeep knowledge of the therapeutic area, strength in research and interpretation of medical dataRelevant work experience, scientific acumen and communication skills in order to be accepted by Leading Specialists in peer-to-peer relationshipAwareness of business strategy and high customer focus with an understanding of the importance of business resultsInnovative, able to work in a matrix and coordinate and drive a complex and changing environmentAwareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values and International Health Care Business Integrity GuideSpecial RequirementsDeep scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area (experience in therapy area either as clinitian or relevant pharma company is an advantage)Communication and presentation skillsBusiness acumenTeamwork, leadership and influencing skillsOther Features Of The JobThe role is 20% field-based, as it involves extensive Leading Specialists interactions.
