Medical Affairs, Publication Lead

Overview:We are seeking a Publications Manager with a strong science background and proven experience in medical or regulatory writing, publication planning, and project management. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to support the development and execution of strategic publication plans within Medical Affairs, ensuring alignment with global and local priorities.Key Responsibilities:Lead publication planning and execution across assigned therapeutic areas.Manage timelines, budgets, agency partners, and author interactions.Prepare and review scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.Ensure compliance with publication guidelines and company policies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including KOLs, publication agencies, and cross-functional teams.Maintain publication records in Datavision and support system training.Qualifications:Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, or MD strongly preferred).CMPP certification is a plus.2+ years of relevant industry or agency experience with PhD/MD/PharmD, or 4+ years with an MS.Strong understanding of publication processes and project management.Experience in diabetes, obesity, or rare disease areas is a plus.Preferred Backgrounds:Candidates with experience in:Medical writing or communication agenciesPharmaceutical/biotech companiesRegulatory writing, medical affairs, medical information, or product safety
