Billing / Insurance Specialist Location: Remote – Peru About Organization: Our client offers therapy and treatment for individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. They operate offices in New York and New Jersey, providing cutting-edge care to improve patients' well-being.Key Responsibilities:Handle medical billing and insurance claims processing for treatments.Communicate with insurance companies to ensure accurate claim submissions and resolve denials.Assist patients with billing inquiries and insurance-related concerns.Maintain and update billing data, reports, and trackers using Google Sheets and other platforms.Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing regulations and insurance requirements.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in medical billing and insurance.2-3+ years of experience working directly on behalf of healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, or medical offices).Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) – comfortable speaking with both patients and insurance companies.Proficiency in Google Sheets and data management; bonus if experienced with macros or data manipulation tools.Preferred Qualities:Detail-oriented and organized.Problem-solver with a proactive approach to billing challenges.Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
