As the Medical Engagement Lead, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring strong collaboration between Medical office/HQ activities and field activities to enable successful execution of the Medical strategy for a first-in-class therapy in Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.Reporting to the Medical Lead Autoimmune T1D, this role is strategically positioned to realize the ambition for T1D and contribute to the overall future success of Sanofi.We are an innovative global healthcare company with one purpose: to chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives. We're also a company where you can flourish and grow your career, with countless opportunities to explore, make connections with people, and stretch the limits of what you thought was possible.Main ResponsibilitiesDefining engagement strategy for Centers of Excellence and building partnerships with external experts to execute local Medical strategyCo-lead screening and monitoring strategy at regional level by supporting key decision-makers (e.g., KOLs in Centers of Excellence, regional payers, etc.) in implementing initiatives (e.g., screening programs to identify people at-risk of T1D, registries to follow patients’ progression through different stages of T1D)Mapping of key scientific external experts and societies (including: KOLs/DOLs, endos, PAGs in partnership with Public Affairs) to develop a local multi-factorial stakeholder engagement strategySupporting the localization of global content and medical messaging for stakeholdersOverseeing the Medical Field Team to ensure optimal execution of the Local Medical strategyContributing to the development and delivery of scientific training to cross-functional teams (including commercial) and approving educational materialsSupporting speakers training to ensure continued scientific support in the fieldExecuting educational meetings and assisting with advisory boards (as needed)About YouMD, PharmD with research background preferred and a deep understanding of the Type 1 Diabetes therapy areaAt least 5 years of industry experience in Medical AffairsExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence and cultivate strong relationshipsStrategic and analytical thinking capabilities with ability to execute medical strategiesClear understanding of medical practice and healthcare systems related to Type 1 DiabetesExcellent communication and presentation skills in English and Norwegian, both written and verbalWhy choose us?At Sanofi, we believe in continuous learning and development.
