About the roleWe’re partnering with one of the world’s top AI companies on projects that use medical expertise to improve the accuracy, reasoning, and safety of large language models. As a Medical Expert, you’ll apply your clinical knowledge to review, evaluate, and help train AI systems, ensuring they generate accurate, safe, and human-aligned responses to medical queries.This is a remote, flexible, project-based opportunity, ideal for medical professionals who want to supplement their careers while shaping the next generation of healthcare technology. What you'll doCreate and answer complex, graduate-level medical questions to help train AI reasoning.Review and analyze AI-generated responses for medical accuracy, safety, and sound clinical approach.Rank and provide structured feedback to improve AI model outputs and “chains of thought.”Support ongoing evaluation of large language models across diverse medical specialties.Collaborate asynchronously within a global network of domain experts.You are a good fit if youHold a medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent) with hands-on clinical experience.Are board-certified or have advanced clinical credentials (PhD, NP, PA, RN also considered).Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise and can design or critique complex medical reasoning.Have strong English proficiency (reading and writing) with minimal errors.Are analytical, detail-oriented, and reliable in meeting deadlines.Are curious about AI and its applications in medicine.Are available to start soon and can commit at least 5–10 hours per week (up to 40 hours).Do NOT have an existing account on Outlier.aiWhy joinFully flexible: choose your hours and workloadCompetitive pay: typically US$50–US$100 per hour, depending on expertise, project scope, and performance.
