Position SummaryReporting to the Manager, Laboratory Services you will be responsible for ensuring high quality patient focused care through accurate and timely laboratory analysis.Mandatory QualificationsMust be currently licensed in accordance with the College of Medical Laboratory technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) to practice medical laboratory technology including Histology. Understands the principles and has the ability to perform analytical techniques on histology specimens using established protocols.Minimum of 3 years histology experience preferred. Grossing and Immunohistochemical experience an asset Personal attributes - self-starter who has the ability to work well with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced medical setting. Highly developed organization skills and the ability to multitask. Position requires repetitive motion, lifting, pulling, pushing, and standing for extended periods of timeDemonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills with technologists and other professionals in the workplace.
