Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities.As a Medical Science Liaison you will be a field-based member of the Medical Affairs team and cover Italy and Grecee.You will develop professional relationships with KOLs in core therapeutic areas of Baxter and will participate in training sessions, deliver clinical/scientific presentations, attend medical congresses and company-sponsored scientific symposia. You will be part of the Regional Medical Affairs teams and be a key partner of several country/region functions (such as Marketing, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Access, Compliance and Legal) to provide medical-scientific and strategic input into country/cluster strategic teams.You will play a strategic role in key thought leader communication and collaboration and put the patient at the center of everything you do while acting in the spirit of highest ethical principles.Main ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage with KOLs, establishing relationships to build awareness, proper use and investigate new uses of Baxter’s productsIdentify investigator-initiated trial (IIT) opportunities and act as the primary point of contact throughout.Assist in development of advisory boards, symposia, and publication planningSupport the Regional Medical Director to develop appropriate strategic and tactical plansProvide accurate medical and scientific education to customers proactivelyRequirementsExcellent scientific backgroundProven Medical Science Liaison experience (2 years)Degree in medical/natural scienceExcellent customer approach with ability to quickly build strong and reliable relationships including with key opinion leadersProven presentation and teaching capabilities and understanding of adult learning conceptsComprehension of relevant clinical and regulatory requirements including ideally GCPFluency in english and italian requiredReasonable AccommodationVantive is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
