K.A Design Wear Ltd is looking for Medical Officer [Garments]Key PointsWe are seeking two dedicated and experienced Medical Officers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the overall health, safety, and well-being of all employees within our factory premises in Tongi.Job Description / ResponsibilityConduct medical fitness tests and age verification for new recruits.Perform periodic health checkups for all workers and staff.Provide primary medical care, prescribe medicine, and offer health advice to attending patients.Administer first aid to emergency patients and, if required, coordinate referrals to specialized hospitals, ensuring factory management is informed.Maintain, monitor, and analyze records of all sickness, injuries, and accidents to develop and implement preventative strategies.Ensure all First-Aid boxes are adequately stocked, and medicines are within their expiry dates, replacing them as needed.Maintain the official accident register and follow up on the First Aider`s daily register.Oversee the maintenance and inventory of all medical supplies as per compliance requirements.Strategically plan and work to maintain a healthy and hygienic occupational environment.Conduct health-related training programs to build awareness among workers about hygiene and occupational health.Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports, including analyses of injury and disease trends.Discharge any other duties assigned by the higher authority.Employment StatusPartTimeEducational RequirementsBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) in MedicineSkills Required: Computer Literacy, Emergency patient management, Communication in English, Emergency Health ServiceExperience Requirements1 to 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,Hospital,Healthcare/Lifestyle productAdditional RequirementsStrong clinical skills in emergency medicine and intensive care.Excellent patient management, interpersonal, and communication skills.Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Email, etc.).Should have the ability to correspond accurately with buyers and auditors regarding health and compliance.Job LocationGazipur (Tongi)
