Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionAs a Roche Medical Value Partner (MVP), you will be shaping the clinical ecosystem for a specific therapeutic area (Oncology - Breast Cancer) through collaborations and creating & leveraging networks with external stakeholders within this ecosystem, ensuring faster access, with better outcomes for more patients in accordance with local laws, regulations and Roche SOPs. You will be contributing to and implementing the tactical medical plans in collaboration with a number of internal stakeholders including, but not limited to all Patient Journey Partners, Health System Partners, Commercial enablers, Clinical Operations, Marketing and Market Access, Quality, Regulatory as well as Global Medical Affairs. This will be done through Therapeutic Area Expert management, knowledge exchange throughout the lifecycle of the product and fostering a Personalised Health Care approach whilst being the Single Point of Contact for HCP's.The OpportunityLeading the charge with respect to scientific information and knowledge on medical developments, integrating insights and acting as a medical consultant for internal stakeholders. Co-development and implementation of the medical strategy and tactical medical plan for the for your responsible Therapeutic areaCoordination of insights generated from external stakeholders and effective communication of these back into the cross function Squad to drive the medical and tactical strategyProvide support to clinical operations and oversee local scientific evidence and data generation activities, while performing all responsibilities in compliance with internal and external processes, rules and regulationsReview external stakeholder programs: Grants and Sponsorships and provide Therapeutic Area Regulatory support and pre-approval programsProvide oversight to Safety and Medical Information Acts as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics, and safety of Roche products, putting patients at the center of his/her actionsRedefines partnership by working closely with external stakeholders (HCPs, Reimbursement and Policy makers, Patient Advocacy Groups etc.)Who You AreMedical or PhD / Other health sciences degrees with strong proven therapeutic area experience considered (Oncology - Breast Cancer)3-5 years Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry is desirableUnderstand the local healthcare system, business (reimbursement and policies) and relevant laws and regulationsExperience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical relevance for the purpose of understanding and communicating clinical study results. Established knowledge base/ skill set in: Data generation (clinical trials; IIS, RWE programs)Relationships with KOLs, other thought leaders, and external professional, disease, and research organizations is strongly preferredAbility to work in a cross functional and in self organized teams which are accountable for delivering results that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholdersEntrepreneurial focus with business acumen and creativity in problem solving, with excellent oral and written English communication skillsEffectively influence without authority and have excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Possess ability to capturing insights & finding solutions that specifically addresses the unique patient unmet needs of the assigned therapeutic areaDisseminate well-balanced scientific knowledge to all external stakeholders to empower them to make correct informed decisions for their patients.
