KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASAccurate and timeous billing of all charted items used during the patient's stayComplete all patient files and ensure these contain all documents as well as a final billed account Utilise and control applicable reports to ensure prompt finalisation and rendering of accountsEnsure client satisfaction through effective communication with other departmentsRequired EducationESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 with AccountingDESIRED EDUCATION: NoneRequired ExperienceESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: NoneDESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as an Accounts Controller; Experience in a healthcare environmentRequired Job Skills And KnowledgeDebtors and creditors (invoicing; reconciliation etc. )Anatomy (extremities) and medical terminologyApplication and implications of tariff agreements of medical aids (e. g.

CPP)Computer literate (Microsoft Office)Patient administration policies; procedures and systems (e. g.
