Medior/Senior Mechanical Engineer NAVAL

Senior Mechanical Engineer We are looking for a a candidate for one of our clients Medior or Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of advanced mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical product development and is able to contribute both technically and creatively within a compact, multidisciplinary team. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and engineer mechanical systems and components for submarines.Create 3D models and detailed designs using Autodesk Inventor.Perform structural and strength analyses in ANSYS, including the evaluation of various load cases and operating conditions.Translate functional requirements into robust mechanical designs that meet performance, safety, and quality standards.Collaborate closely with team members to exchange ideas, review designs, and ensure integrated engineering solutions.Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and design reviews.Required QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical product development.Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems such as cranes, gearboxes or similar components.Proficiency in Inventor for modelling mechanical systems.Solid experience with ANSYS for performing strength and structural analyses.Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.Creative, proactive, and capable of developing innovative technical solutions.A true team player, comfortable working in a small team where communication and collaboration are essential.Has a valid Dutch work visa.Good command of the English language.
