Job Description

The Claims Manager oversees and facilitates the processing of bond and Contractor's All Risks Insurance (CARI) claims. This involves managing the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation, and actively communicating with insurance companies to expedite claim resolution. The role also requires providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners on matters related to bond and insurance policy terms, conditions, and coverage. This includes interpreting complex policy language, clarifying ambiguities, and addressing inquiries to ensure a clear understanding of the scope of insurance protection and claims procedures.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in handling construction and real estate insurance claims. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a team player. Knowledge of bond and insurance practices, policies, and coverage. Familiarity with rate schedules and assessment methodologies. Non-life insurance and underwriting certification is a plus.
