About The OpportunityInvolved in all purchasing activities. Receives orders and grants approval for purchases of goods or services. Analyzes changes or new issues in materials and supplies to find ways to reduce costs and improve quality.

Executes procurement strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of cost, profitability, productivity, quality, customer service, and sustainabilityExecutes tactical procurement activities of assigned location(s) for the following including interacting with suppliers, verifying specifications and pricing, creating purchase orders, monitoring order status, supplier invoice management, and resolution of non-complianceOperations approved plant requisitioned Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) supplies and services up to $100,000Ensures compliance to Menasha’s purchasing policies and proceduresEnsures compliance to Menasha’s Supplier Code of ConductEnsures compliance with national supplier agreementsParticipates in evaluating prospective MRO suppliers and coordinates supplier approval and qualification processSupports local cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellenceAdministers annual assigned scorecard initiatives and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company reportsEnsures compliance to Menasha’s Risk Management supplier insurance requirements Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publicationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferredSome relevant experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the functions responsible for procurement of materials, components, equipment and servicesKnowledge of practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and servicesKnowledge of methods, tools and documentation of evaluating, selecting and certifying suppliers and partnersKnowledge of process and practices for managing a variety of contractual agreementsKnowledge of the contractual and legal matters related to expenditures (consulting services, maintenance, agreements, hardware and software acquisitions, outsourcing, etc.
