MEP Engineer

We are hiring MEP Engineers to support our R&D design team and site-based installation activities.  The role involves both office-based design work and hands-on execution at distribution centers, factories, and project sites. Candidates will assist in developing electrical and mechanical designs that meet client requirements while ensuring high-quality installation and system performance according to project standards. Responsibilities and Duties: Support R&D and project teams in MEP design, drawing preparation, and feasibility studies Assist in installation, inspection and troubleshooting of MEP (e.g. DB boards, wiring, ducting, plumbing, equipment setup) Work at project sites outside of Klang Valley and other states when needed. Coordinate with site supervisors and project engineers to execute work plans Handle tools, materials, and perform basic testing and troubleshooting as guided Ensure all site activities follow safety, quality, and technical guidelines Participate in client or design review meetings to refine design solutions Travel and site presence required based on project needs QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering 2 years and above of work experience in MEP or Electrical design related field is preferred Valid CIDB Green Card required Additional wiring certification or relevant qualification is preferred Familiar with electrical schematic diagram, single line diagram, wiring diagram and other electrical drawings. Familiar with relevant building codes, safety standards and regulations Good at AutoCAD, SolidWorks is bonus Comfortable with both site work and office design coordination Availability: Able to start in Dec 2025 DetailsLocation: Multiple work locations Based on project/ client needs: Office @ Q Sentral/ Distribution Center @ Port Klang/ Site @ Nilai, etc. Working Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm / Project based scheduling Remuneration/ Benefits Paid leave: Annual, marriage, compassionate, medical & hospitalisation Medical: GP panel clinics, medical claims, and hospitalisation insurance Allowances: Meals, transport, accommodation, etc. Extras: Cross-cultural exposure, overseas travel opportunities Culture: Friendly and supportive work environment  Important Dates: 4 November 2025 (Tuesday) – Managing Director (MD) Seminar Selected candidates must attend the in-person MD Seminar in Kuala Lumpur. This session introduces candidates to Sankyo Frontier’s culture, values, and modular construction philosophy, and serves as an essential step before moving forward in the selection process. 10–11 November 2025 (Monday–Tuesday) – Physical Group Interview Sessions Shortlisted candidates will attend in-person group interviews to allow our team to understand each candidate’s skills, personality, and overall fit with the company before final selection.
