Job Specification –Client Side MEP Project Manager Data CentresJob Title: MEP Project ManagerLocation: Sweden 150Km from StockholmType: Full-time | Site-Based with Rotation / Hybrid Options OverviewActing as the client’s representative The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across large-scale, mission-critical projects. Managing the full lifecycle from design through construction, commissioning, and handover, this role requires strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and BMS systems.This is a rotational role with competitive, negotiable salary packages that may include flights, accommodation, transport, and living allowances depending on project location.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all MEP project phases from planning and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.Lead coordination between contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure technical compliance and quality delivery.Review designs, technical submittals, and shop drawings for MEP scope.Conduct site inspections, QA/QC checks, and resolve technical issues in real time.Oversee commissioning activities (L2–L5), ensuring systems are tested, integrated, and signed off.Facilitate regular client and contractor meetings, ensuring alignment on project goals.Ensure compliance with HSE, local regulations, and international standards.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be an experienced MEP professional with leadership skills and international project experience.Requirements:Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Construction Engineering (or equivalent).5–10 years’ experience delivering large-scale MEP packages (data centres, pharma, healthcare, or critical infrastructure).Strong technical background in HVAC, power distribution, fire/life safety, and water treatment systems.Proven project management skills with ability to manage contracts, budgets, and schedules.Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.Flexibility to work on rotation-based assignments in EMEA or globally.Package & BenefitsSalary: €90,000 – €150,000 base (negotiable, depending on experience)Rotation Packages: Flights, accommodation, transport, and daily living allowance provided where applicable.Opportunities for career progression on international mission-critical projects.
