Job Description

Job Descriptions:•Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for MEP works based on drawing, specifications and other project requirements•Measure and quantify the materials, labor, and equipment required for MEP installations•Assist in the tendering process, including preparing and analyzing tender documents, evaluating bids, and point-out any concerns from Employer perspective during contract issuance process•Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identify cost overruns or saving opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.•Assess and price variations and change orders related to MEP works, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved•Administer contracts related to MEP works, including reviewing contract terms, processing payments, and resolving contractual disputes•Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP works.Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field;•Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus•Ability to develop bill of quantities (BoQ) and determine provisional quantities for tender purposes•Knowledge of local building codes, regulations and standards•Good analytical thinking and detail-oriented•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in construction terminologies•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders•Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines•Familiarity with quantity surveying software, as well as general office software such as Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu is a plus•Willingness to work on-site at BSD Office
