Wealth Management Assistant Mercadante and Company, P. C. has the following position available: Financial Services Assistant. The primary purpose of the Financial Services Assistant position is to ensure all operational functions are processed efficiently with limited errors, putting the needs of the client first and providing exceptional service every single time. This position performs a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require extensive knowledge of departmental functions and systems. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Setting up new accounts (National Financial Services, Envestnet, AnnuityRight)· Processing and reconciling transactions · Processing distribution requests · Creating transfer requests and monitoring that requested funds have been transferred · Researching inquiries · Resolving customer service issues · Reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents · Opening customer service logs and following up to ensure resolution and communicating outcome(s) to clients · Processing account information changes · Maintaining notes in CRM for activities performed (Redtail)· May perform special projects as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: · Two years related experience (administrative, customer service, or financial services)· Microsoft Office Competencies:
· Ability to multitask · Ability to work independently and as part of a small team · Ability to organize and work within a procedural environment · Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills · High attention to detail This position plays a critical role in the success of the business.
