Job Summary: As the Merchandise Manager for our Fashion & Apparel client, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's retail growth and merchandise strategies for their biggest brand. In this full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, purchasing, and allocation of merchandise to ensure optimal product availability and profitability.Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic merchandising plans to align with the company's overall business objectivesAnalyze sales data, consumer trends, and market intelligence to make informed buying decisionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design and marketing, to ensure a cohesive brand identity and customer experienceManage the product lifecycle, from forecasting and purchasing to inventory management and markdown planningNegotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricingMonitor and report on key performance indicators, making data-driven recommendations to improve overall business performanceQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a merchandising or buying role within the fashion and apparel industryProven track record of successfully managing the full product lifecycle, from planning to allocationStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret sales trends and consumer insightsExcellent negotiation and vendor management skillsCollaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (ie. Excel), with the ability to use data analysis toolsWilling to report on a hybrid setup (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH) in Makati**
