Job Title: Merchandise Warehouse ManagerLocation: Belgium (with travel to exhibition venues as required)Employment Type: Full-timeReports to: Warehouse Manager, BelgiumExhibition Hub is a leading player in the exhibition industry. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Merchandise Warehouse Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our merchandise storage, inventory management, and distribution processes for exhibitions and trade shows across Belgium and Europe. You will be responsible for ensuring that merchandise and event materials are received, stored, prepared, and dispatched efficiently and accurately to support seamless event execution.Responsibilities include :Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching merchandise and event materials.Ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory control systems.Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse layout.Any other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager, Belgium.Coordinate with event managers and exhibitors to plan timely deliveries and collections of materials to/from exhibition venues.Manage transportation logistics, including loading/unloading schedules, driver coordination, and shipping documentation.Supervise on-site logistics during setup and breakdown phases when required.Lead and train warehouse staff and temporary workers.Develop and enforce operational procedures, health & safety standards, and productivity goals.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track stock and movements.Prepare regular reports on stock levels, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency.Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction.Qualifications & Experience :Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within the exhibition, events, or retail merchandise sector.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.Proven ability to manage a team and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Valid forklift license (reach truck/counterbalance) preferred.Fluent in English and French.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work flexible hours during peak event periodsHands-on leadership with a proactive approachIf you are a hands-on person with a passion for logistics and want to be part of a growing international company that brings world-class exhibitions to life, we’d love to hear from you.
