This role would enable you to be diligent and accurately follow through on all related activities from the receipt of design concept to style development and bulk tech pack handover whilst building relationships and credibility with all relevant parties in order to ensure a smooth flow of operations and support the account in achieving set objectives.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations by catering to specific development requirements and supporting the commercialization process, while ensuring the accurate and timely management of all critical path activities.Ensure the timely and accurate execution of production planning and coordination activities, including T&A implementation, raw material delivery, PO fulfillment, cut date planning, delay alerts, cost optimization, and communication with customers for tech pack clarifications.Effectively manage the customer development calendar to meet internal and external deadlines and requirements. Work on new development projects to drive business growth while maintaining strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders.Ensure costing, cost re-engineering, BOM, PLM, and Salesforce updates are completed accurately and on time, while meeting internal earning aspirations to support the achievement of set objectives.Ensure raw material availability as per the BOM by proactively managing procurement, addressing shortages or replacements, coordinating accurate documentation, following up on supplier payments, engaging production teams to mitigate risks, and conducting pre-validations and risk analyses for launch styles.Work with the team to build and maintain effective relationships and clear communication channels to ensure timely coordination and follow-ups to meet customer expectations, including preparations for customer visits.Initiate raw material sourcing with the respective Fabric Technologists and negotiate terms such as price, delivery, and greige availability to identify the most suitable suppliers and optimize benefits in line with customer and business expectations.Establish strong connectivity between development and bulk operations by focusing on the time required to conduct risk mitigation activities at each stage, ensuring product feasibility, due diligence, and a seamless handover to production.Coordinate the sample development process, participate in development meetings, and follow up on raw material requirements based on customer requests to ensure the timely completion and delivery of samples and prototypes.Coordinate with the development team on launch development sampling and RM costing, while assisting in raw material sourcing for launch styles.Support the color sample process by updating all relevant information in the system and following up on each stage to ensure the timely, accurate, and effective completion of samples.Collaborate actively with the team to implement and deliver lean initiatives and Kaizen activities to support departmental strategies.Qualifications:Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in merchandising or product development, with exposure to costing and T&A management.A degree or professional qualification in a related field.Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and fit.Prior experience in bulk order execution will be a definite advantage.Solid background in mathematics and analytical thinking.Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities, with a capacity to work effectively across functions.Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.Highly organized with excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
