Merchant Risk Strategist – Colombia (Remote)

Our platform combines agentic AI, OSINT, and KYB automation to deliver 8-minute digital-footprint reports and continuous merchant intelligence.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Merchant Risk Strategist based in Colombia to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our clients across Latin America — mainly banks, PSPs, and fintechs — to help them leverage Ballerine’s AI-powered capabilities in their merchant risk processes.You’ll act as both a product and relationship bridge, ensuring that clients fully understand and utilize Ballerine’s tools to improve merchant onboarding, monitoring, and risk decisioning.Key ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with acquirers, fintechs, and banks in Colombia and the wider LATAM region.Support clients in implementing and customizing Ballerine’s AI solutions within their onboarding and risk workflows.Collaborate with the product and risk teams to align client needs with product capabilities.Analyze client use cases and help define best practices in merchant risk management, underwriting, and KYC/KYB automation.Deliver product demos, training sessions, and ongoing client support.Act as the voice of the client, providing feedback to the product and engineering teams.RequirementsProven experience in merchant acquiring, onboarding, or risk/KYC roles (e.g., at an acquirer, PSP, or bank).Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant risk, and compliance workflows.Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).Portuguese fluency is a strong advantage.Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones.Passion for innovation and AI-driven risk intelligence.
