Our OpportunityAre you excited about how we can use technology to help model, visualise and monitor what is happening at our generation stations? Are you passionate about helping users get the most out of our technology systems? This is an exciting new role as a Platform Specialist for our Aveva PI System as we expand our capabilities in this platform and deliver valuable use cases across the enterprise.

Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with business stakeholders and end users to make the best use of Mercury's Aveva PI system, you'll be actively involved in identifying opportunities and facilitating delivery as part of a cross functional team including technical and business stakeholdersBecome a trusted expert in Aveva PI system including PI Vision, Asset Framework and Asset AnalyticsCreating and updating documentation e. g.

training material, how-to-guides, standards and best practice documentationHelp facilitate internal PI user groups meetings to share knowledge, opportunities and the roadmapApproximately 60/40 split of facilitation, process improvement and solution design (60%) vs hands on delivery / implementation (40%) ensuring your technical skills and knowledge are up to dateWork with other digital delivery squads and contributing to assessment of the most appropriate digital solutionsWe Are Looking ForUnderstanding of generation plant, electrical and mechanical systems (or other industrial / process engineering)Knowledge of Aveva PI system in particular Asset Framework, Asset Analytics, PI VisionUnderstanding of information systems e. g.

relational databases (SQL), time series data, report creation (PowerBI or similar)Experience in scripting e. g. Python, VBAProven track record of driving process improvement and engaging with key stakeholders across the businessExperience in working in cross functional teams representing business and technology stakeholdersMercury offers (full benefits are listed on our Career Page):
