Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

CapM provides high quality advice in mergers, acquisitions and strategy and focus on creating lasting relationships with clients in a collaborative, innovative and performance-driven environment.  CapM is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial individual who can make an immediate contribution as a full-time Analyst or Senior Analyst position.  Analysts will work on a variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions and investment banking advisory assignments.

They will be provided with a stimulating and rewarding experience working with highly experienced senior bankers from day one. Analysts will work on active mergers and acquisitions engagements, interact with clients, travel domestically and internationally on specific M&A projects, as well as participate in CapM’s business development efforts. Responsibilities include:  ·       Preparation of internal and client-focused presentations·       Research and analysis of financial statements·       In-depth financial modelling·       Analysis of market and company specific conditions and trends ·       General client and transaction supportRole requirements:

·       1 - 3 years of relevant financial / transactional experience·       Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business preferred with excellent academic credentials·       Self-starter with demonstrated track record of leadership and personal initiative·       Attention to detail and problem-solving competencies·       Ability to present ideas persuasively in a clear and concise manner ·       Excellent written and oral communication skills·       Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office·       Must contribute to a positive office culture, be a team player and have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlinesAnalysts will learn the business firsthand in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the abilty to interact directly with senior bankers.
