The mission of the Sales Strategic Planning & Operations (SSPO) group within Meta is to enable revenue growth through data-driven business strategies and efficient operations. We do this by being objective, trusted partners to the partnered organization(s) we work with.
This is done through (1) a demonstrated grounding and understanding of the data which underpins our business, (2) the capacity to synthesize this with third-party or external data and insights, (3) through thought leadership, influence of strategic planning and cross-functional collaborations and (4) through stakeholder influence, even when we are not in the room, through communication of data-centered narratives, analysis and calls-to-action via dashboards and tools we develop or evolve. This role will be supporting our businesses for Greater China. Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Insights Lead, GBG APAC, Greater China Responsibilities: Business Insights:
Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue, product, vertical, productivity, efficiency, market opportunity data and trends. Lead communication of these insightsProject/Process Management: Design and execute on a standard cadence of operations while also independently developing and managing project or program plans to support key stakeholder asksHypothesis Development: Identify and solve strategic questions related to Meta’s largest regional business opportunities and related risksScalable Insight: Create and maintain automated and actionable dashboard, workflows and tools that drive current and future rhythm of business actionsMinimum Qualifications:
Degree in either Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field2+ years of experience in business operations, analytics or planningAdvanced SQL knowledge and knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python/R)Demonstrable problem-solving experience with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data setsProven experience with managing information strategy and data structuresProven experience in driving end-to-end strategy setting and implementation, including influencing executive stakeholder buy-inKnowledge of basic statistics and experience with creating reproducible analysisEffective communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
