As Language Manager, Quality Programs, you will drive language quality for our localization efforts in markets for which we do not have internal language managers to manage the quality delivered by our localization vendors. This is a full-time position based in EMEA. As we work closely with team members in remote offices and regional stakeholders, you will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings, to ensure effective communication and collaboration with global teams across timezones. Language Manager, Quality Programs Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally to drive high quality in our localization efforts for markets for which we do not have internal language managers to manage the quality delivered by our localization vendorsScale quality management processes, drive and oversee change management accordingly when rolling out new processes or implementing changes to existing onesCollect feedback from internal and external stakeholders and share with external vendors, and improve these processesSupport continuous training programs for new and existing localization vendorsHelp maintain and update educational materials for localization vendorsEducate internal stakeholders on best practices for internationalizationSupport operational needs for vendor quality monitoring and escalationsThis role involves regular collaboration with global teams.
You will work closely with US stakeholders, which will require working evening hours several days a week to accommodate US timezonesMinimum Qualifications: BA or equivalent (in a relevant field such as translation, linguistics, intercultural communication etc. )3+ years of experience in the localization industry as a quality program manager, language manager, or in a similar role focused on localization quality managementFamiliarity with CAT, TMS and CMS toolsExperience working with localization vendorsCross-functional collaboration experiencePreferred Qualifications: Native or near-native fluency in a language other than EnglishExperience with practical application of AI to localization workflowsAbout Meta:
