We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Data and AI Programs to join the Enterprise Engineering team. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to solve some of the toughest enterprise data problems, define robust metrics, and drive impact by enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with engineering, product, analytics, and AI/ML teams to develop scalable solutions, support machine learning initiatives, and help shape how data and AI power Meta’s enterprise systems.
As a key member of the Enterprise Engineering organization, you will shape the way Meta uses data and AI to optimize internal platforms, infrastructure, and business processes globally. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, scalability, and intelligence of Meta’s enterprise business operations. You will play a crucial role in delivering data-driven solutions to some of our most complex business and technical challenges, empowering teams across the company to make informed, strategic decisions. Business Analyst - Data and AI Programs Responsibilities:
Complex Problem Solving - Partner with business and engineering teams to resolve hard business issues by leveraging dataMetric Definition & Governance - Design, implement, and maintain clear and measurable metrics/KPIs aligned with business objectives. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency of data definitions and reportingAI/ML Solutioning - Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to ideate and bring solutions leveraging AI.
AI project lifecycles—including data sourcing, feature engineering, experiment validation, and results interpretationData Analysis & Insights - Analyze large-scale, complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that address critical enterprise challenges and inform strategyCross-Functional Collaboration - Effectively communicate analyses, complex data concepts, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams. Influence roadmaps and strategic decisionsData Modeling & Visualization - Develop and maintain advanced data models, dashboards, and self-serve analytics tools to enable stakeholders to access and interpret business-critical informationData Governance & Compliance - Adhere to and champion best practices in data privacy, security, and governance in all analytics activitiesMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in business/data analysis roles with a focus on enterprise-scale data systems and toolingProficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python or RExperience working with large datasets, distributed data systems (e. g. , Hive, Presto, Spark), and data visualization platforms (e. g. , Tableau, PowerBI)Proven track record of defining and operationalizing metrics/KPIs for complex technical organizations or platformsDemonstrated experience supporting AI/ML projects with relevant data analysis and business understandingPreferred Qualifications:
