About us:As part of Sonaca Group and a major player in aerospace industry, Sonaca Romania produces in Cluj, near Turda, three ranges of products: ✈ Assembly of slats for Airbus aircrafts (movable part in front of the wing), ✈ Production of composite parts for the wings of Embraer Legacy 500 and E2-190 Aircrafts; ✈ Assembly and production of composite parts for Ariane 6 rocket.Sonaca Aerospace Transilvania currently has around 200 employees, with ambitious plans to grow in the future to almost double the current size.We are looking for a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a key role in bringing our innovative products to life.Your Mission: The Manufacturing Engineer enables the production team to achieve the required production rates with the right quality. This role is also responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures. You will work with the production team to develop manufacturing best practices, implementing new processes through test and integration, while working closely with engineers, technicians and other stakeholders.Your tasks:Tracking and improving quality in the production line;Oversee and insure the efficient production of high quality parts;Develop and updating technical sheets and ensure they are accurately and clearly documented to allow repeatable and reliable manufacturing;Conduct and interpret quality control tests to ensure that parts meet specification;Monitoring and following the key characteristics of the production line;Training of new personnel and periodic retraining of personnel based on available documentation.Conduct Walk the Process and actions resulting from it;Carrying out GEMBA audits and identifying opportunities for improvement;Applying Lean Manufacturing standards to make production line more efficient;Investigating the root cause of realized production and quality issues in the production line;Defining the necessary tools needed in the line;Participate in the industrialization of new products and transfer of work in the lines.Your profile:Industrial engineering or equivalent experience;2 to 5 years of experience working as a Manufacturing/Production/Process/Quality Engineer or equivalent; Hands on attitude and adaptability to schedules from production;Autonomous, responsive, results and details oriented; Advance English skills; French is a plus;Ease to use the tools of the Office suite, Team Center, CAD programs; Good capacity for synthesis and analysis;Good communication skills and easily work in team;Knowledge of problem solving techniques;SPC knowledge and experience applying statistical methods to track process capability and performance.We offer more than a job.
