Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Process Innovation, you’ll help drive the success of our recruitment efforts by coordinating the day-to-day operations that keep our hiring processes running seamlessly. What will I be doing?Support the full-cycle recruitment process by coordinating job requisitions in ATS, managing postings and applicant flow, screening candidates, and preparing and reviewing offer letters.
Being a trusted point of contact you’ll provide timely, professional support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders—whether by email, phone, or in person. You’ll manage the Standing Application process and ensure internal moves align with Collective Bargaining Agreements and organizational procedures. You'll coordinate the recruitment of Co-Op and Summer Students—from posting jobs and verifying eligibility to guiding hiring managers and organizing interviews. Initiate and review criminal, reference, and educational background checks; administer pre-employment testing and ensure compliance with fairness and confidentiality standards.
Represent the organization at recruitment events and job fairs, helping to build a strong pipeline of future talent and promote a positive candidate experience. You will keep our processes running smoothly by maintaining accurate records, manage recruitment documentation, and coordinate communications—especially through our Recruitment Inbox. You will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline recruitment processes, contribute to SOP development, and support training initiatives. Coordinate with Procurement on temporary agency vendor management and support related financial tasks including invoice reconciliation and budget submissions. Provide expertise and back-up support to other Talent Acquisition team members as needed.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment with knowledge of full-cycle recruitment. CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset. Strong knowledge of talent acquisition processes, HR systems (e. g. , ATS, HRIS such as Oracle), and general office procedures. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while meeting strict deadlines.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to support process improvement and operational efficiency. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
