Mexico Country Manager - World First

A One Stop Digital Payment Solution Provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Country Manager to join our leadership team in Mexico. The ideal candidate will spearhead our omnichannel merchant acquiring business in Mexico, while collaborating closely with local partners to offer competitive channels domestically and globally. Additionally, this role will work hand-in-hand with our embedded lending team to develop a robust lending strategy tailored to Mexican merchants.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the omnichannel merchant acquiring business in Mexico, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability by targeting merchants with import/export operations as well as domestic businesses.Ensure compliance with local regulations and WorldFirst’s operational standards by actively participating in critical business and government-related meetings.Collaborate with strategic partners to deliver competitive merchant solutions both within Mexico and internationally.Partner with the embedded lending team to design and implement a merchant lending strategy that aligns with local market needs.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, partners, and regulatory authorities.Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of business strategies across the organization.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).Must be a Mexican citizen.Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development, merchant acquiring, or related roles within the financial services industry.Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.Deep understanding of the Mexican market and regulatory landscape.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.Why Join Us?If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business success and innovation in the financial services sector, we invite you to apply for the Business Country Manager position in Mexico.
