Internal Compliance Officer

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Compliance Officer to join our team and reinforce our internal governance and compliance structures. Key Responsibilities: 🔹Regulatory Monitoring:

Ensure the firm adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including those from the Cyprus Bar Association, CySEC, AML laws, and GDPR. 🔹Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits and control assessments to detect weaknesses and recommend improvements. 🔹Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures. 🔹Training & Communication: Provide ongoing compliance training to staff and enhance awareness on regulatory obligations and best practices. 🔹Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and respond to inquiries from supervisory authorities. 🔹Risk Evaluation: Identify and mitigate compliance risks through systematic reviews and action plans. 🔹Regulatory Interaction:

Serve as the main point of contact during inspections and audits by external bodies. Qualifications & Requirements: 🔹Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. A legal background is a strong advantage. 🔹Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Compliance Officer, ideally within a legal, fiduciary, or financial services environment in Cyprus. 🔹Solid understanding of Cyprus' regulatory landscape, including AML laws, GDPR, and legal compliance frameworks. 🔹Excellent organizational, investigative, and documentation skills. 🔹Proficiency in both Greek and English (written and spoken). 🔹High level of discretion, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
