Job DescriptionYou will oversee the complete M&A process for mid- to large-scale deals, ensuring smooth execution from initial target screening through to final handover.
This includes managing internal stakeholders, working with external advisors, and delivering on strategic objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead end-to-end M&A projects for acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures. Drive strategic target identification, screening, and qualification. Oversee development of robust business cases, cost synergy modelling, and valuation analysis. Manage due diligence processes across financial, legal, tax, and operational areas. Collaborate closely with legal teams to negotiate and finalise documentation. Engage and coordinate with external advisors such as investment banks, law firms, and consultants. Anticipate and resolve critical alignment or operational issues during execution.
Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations to executive stakeholders. Monitor deal progress and ensure timely completion of key milestones. Safeguard sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality throughout. Identify process improvements to optimise future deal execution. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to junior colleagues. The Successful ApplicantMaster's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. 8-12 years of hands-on M&A deal execution experience, ideally EUR 50-400m deal sizes. Proven track record delivering acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures end-to-end. Strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management and influence skills.
Comfortable presenting to and working with executive-level stakeholders. High level of discretion and professional integrity. Fluency in English (spoken and written).
