Our mission is to secure the past and present knowledge for the future.ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our Group IT Operations team, specializing in the Microsoft 365 suite, Intune, Entra, and Defender XDR. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating a secure, efficient, and modern digital workplace that supports a global organization.In this role, you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing, developing, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 services and Intune environments. You’ll ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our digital ecosystem — driving continuous improvement and best practices across our infrastructure.You’ll be part of a collaborative, international team and work closely with colleagues in Group IT and the Security & Architecture team to maintain a secure environment. A key part of your day-to-day work will also include managing support tickets and monitoring security alerts to ensure smooth operations.We’re looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who understands modern workplace needs and enjoys staying ahead of the curve with the latest technologies and trends.This position may occasionally require after-hours support and availability during critical situationsor emergencies.The position is based in Lund, Sweden with the possibility to work part time from home.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and operate Microsoft 365, Entra, and Defender XDR services.Manage and optimize the digital workplace through Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.Design and implement AI-driven productivity solutions, such as Microsoft Copilot.Perform regular Microsoft Secure Score assessments and implement security enhancements.Maintain and update the hardware standards catalogue for the digital workplace.Lead the migration of client environments to the Intune-managed platform.Operate and phase out legacy Windows Server–based services, including Active Directory.Manage the technical cloud platforms for business applications like Microsoft Dynamics and Atlassian.Provide technical guidance and support to IT Operations colleagues.Respond to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and user support tickets in collaboration with the IT Operations team.Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.SKILLS AND COMPETENCES Technical skills & Expertise Deep expertise in developing and managing digital workplace services through Microsoft Intune across multiple platforms.Proven ability to implement and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Copilot, driving productivity and collaboration.Strong knowledge of Entra ID configuration and Microsoft 365 security services, including Defender XDR and Purview, ensuring robust and compliant environments.Hands-on experience in incident management and technical support, resolving complex issues efficiently.Skilled in managing on-premise Windows Server solutions, including Active Directory, and transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms.Experience in technical administration of SaaS cloud platforms, ensuring reliable and scalable operations.Knowledge of end-user hardware procurement and standardization, optimizing cost and performance for global teams.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to navigate complex challenges and deliver effective solutions.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high quality and consistency.Who you are… You’re a natural collaborator who thrives on building strong connections across teams.
