Mid-Level Associate – Capital Markets

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a mid-level associate to join our Capital Markets team, advising major Turkish and international clients on a wide range of public offerings, debt issuances, and regulatory compliance matters.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising clients on capital markets transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, Eurobond issuances, and lease certificate (sukuk) transactions.Drafting and reviewing prospectuses, offering circulars, and disclosure documents in compliance with Capital Markets Board (CMB) regulations.Assisting clients with public company reporting obligations, corporate governance matters, and ongoing compliance requirements.Conducting legal due diligence for equity and debt offerings and preparing due diligence reports.Liaising with the CMB, Borsa İstanbul, the Central Securities Depository (MKK), and other relevant authorities throughout the transaction process.Supporting partners and senior lawyers in managing deal timelines, coordinating with counterparties, and ensuring efficient project execution.Preparing legal opinions and memoranda on Turkish capital markets law, corporate law, and related regulatory frameworks.QualificationsLaw degree from a reputable Turkish university (LL.M. is an asset).Admitted to a Bar Association in Türkiye.Four to seven years of experience in capital markets at a reputable law firm.Excellent command of written and spoken English; candidates with a valid IELTS (7.5+) or TOEFL (110+) score are preferred.Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills; attention to detail and high professional discipline.High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to professional excellence.Presentable and comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and international clients.Preferred AttributesPrior involvement in IPO or debt issuance transactions is highly desirable.Experience advising publicly listed companies on ongoing compliance and disclosure.Self-motivated, and eager to contribute to complex, high-value mandates.Proactive attitude and interest in continuous learning, teamwork, and cross-practice collaboration.Why Join UsYou will be part of a collaborative team where professional excellence, initiative, and growth are highly valued.
