Mid/Senior Software Engineer - Backend

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with curiosity, creativity, and the drive to deliver high-quality software in a collaborative environment. You’ll join a talented, multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of AI, Digital Twin, and Cloud Technologies, contributing to both EU R&D and commercial projects.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Node.js, C# or Go.Build and maintain containerized applications and microservices.Design and document APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger).Participate in architectural design and contribute to long-term technical decisions.Package, deploy, and monitor applications in production.Estimate tasks, communicate progress, and deliver clean, maintainable code.Stay up to date with modern tools, frameworks, and practices.REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLSDegree in Computer Science or a related field.4+ years of professional experience in backend development.Proven experience with at least one of Python, Node.js, C# or Go.Strong knowledge of API development and backend frameworks.Experience building scalable and reliable systems.Excellent command of English (written and spoken).REQUIRED SOFT SKILLSAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving ability.Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented.Fast learner who adapts to new tools and technologies easily.Comfortable working independently and collaborating in a team.DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEFamiliarity with distributed systems or data pipelines.Experience with messaging/pub-sub systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, etc.).Exposure to DevOps workflows (CI/CD pipelines).Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary and corporate insurance package.Work on cutting-edge projects across research and industry.A dynamic environment where your ideas shape technical decisions.Hybrid work model with flexible hours.Continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
