Middleby Marshall is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for the Regional Director of Sales to become a part of our team!Job Summary: The Regional Director of Sales assumes a pivotal role in steering, guiding, organizing, and safeguarding the resources of the sales function within the designated territory.

The Regional bears responsibility for the holistic performance of the designated territory, the profitable attainment of sales targets, and the alignment of sales objectives with the company's overarching business strategy. This role also entails overseeing relationships with key accounts, commercial chains, dealer buying groups, and external sales representatives and distributors on a domestic scale. These specific territories cover the West Coast of the US (California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Alaska, and Hawaii)Key ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Lead initiatives targeting key accounts and commercial chains to achieve commercial sales and marketing goals, focusing on profitable sales volume, market share, and critical strategic performance targets. Maintain and execute a sales plan that supports the company's overarching objectives through consultative selling, targeted account management, sales and product training, food application development, and collaborative cross-functional teamwork when needed. Collect, analyze, and disseminate market insights to strengthen product planning and chain sales strategies, driving the company toward profitable sales growth and an improved market position.

Provide support for strategic objectives in your region and for its partnersAlign with the sales leader’s team's objectives, providing support and helping connect numerous divisions within the companyRepresent the company as an ambassador to foodservice end users, sales partners, industry groups, and individuals at trade shows, special events, and related activities. Cultivate and maintain valuable peer-to-peer relationships with customers, prospects, and within the companyCollaborate with the Marketing team to create print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services. Offer assistance, feedback, support, and guidance to the Customer Service Department.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Formal sales management training is essential. A minimum of 10 years of related sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment, with a history of progressive leadership roles, preferably in the commercial food service industry, or an equivalent blend of education and work experience. Culinary experience is advantageous This position necessitates regular travel within the United States, averaging at least 2 weeks per month. Self-directed, motivated, and capable of working independently to manage time and travel effectively in meeting all performance objectives. Vital experience in project management.

A high degree of creativity and forward-looking vision in developing business strategies and sales programs. Strong problem-solving skills, personal organization, attention to detail, and follow-through are imperative. Proficiency in extensive data analytics and PC skills, with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and compile relevant data and present it in associated reports and recommended strategic sales plans. Strong decision-making abilities are a must. Proficiency with MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, is required. A robust understanding of business acumen.
