Millwright (Pinetown)

The purpose of this position is to, amongst other things; provide expertise technical and maintenance support to the Maintenance and Production Teams. This is done through attendance to planned and unplanned maintenance / breakdown, installation of equipment and handling of all maintenance and technical requirements of the business needs.ResponsibilitiesAttend to both mechanical and electrical breakdownsMachinery and equipment installations in the plantAttend to unplanned and planned maintenanceAdequately manage spare inventoryInvolved in the department’s adhoc duties and projectsQualificationsTrade Test Millwright Qualification, with strong knowledge and exposure in electricalMinimum 5 Years’ experience in Automotive industry, preferably in Manufacturing environment.Ability to read machine blue-printsGood organisational and communication skillsIn-depth electrical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAnalytical skillsAbility to work unsupervisedHydraulic experience would be an advantage.
