Job DescriptionAbout the Role: Under the guidance of the Parts Manager, this role is primarily focused on supporting our workshop team by ensuring timely and accurate supply of parts for all our brands.
You’ll play a key role in keeping workshop operations running smoothly by managing parts logistics, inventory, and coordination. In addition to workshop support, you’ll also assist with crane parts sales for our sister company, Crane Sales NZ, and provide backup for over the counter and point-of-sale customer service when required. What You’ll Do: Work closely with workshop technicians to source and supply the correct parts, with a focus on crane components. Manage parts inventory and ordering to support workshop efficiency. Provide accurate and timely quotes for crane parts and accessories.
Coordinate parts supply for Crane Sales NZ, ensuring smooth inter-company support. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of parts. Provide backup support for counter sales and customer inquiries when needed. Stay informed on crane product lines, specifications, and updates. QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For: Strong background in parts and inventory control, ideally within the mechanical or heavy equipment industry. Experience supporting workshop operations and understanding technician needs. Familiarity with goods inward/outward processes and stock control systems. Intermediate computer skills: experience with ordering systems is a plus.
Forklift operation skills are desirable (training provided if needed). A proactive, energetic attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
