The opportunityWe are looking for an individual to join the Investment Product team for our Japan Wealth and Asset Management business. This individual will be responsible for supporting ongoing investment product development and management across the domestic and offshore product platforms utilized by our Retail and Institutional businesses.ResponsibilitiesProduct idea generation and conceptualization in support of Retail and Institutional client channels in JapanProduct launch for PPITs, POITs and offshore vehiclesOversight and maintenance for our existing Japan onshore product rangeDevelopment and presentation of business cases for domestic initiativesManagement and sourcing of seed capital funding for new product launchesContribution to regional product idea generation, development and launchSkills & Experience (Must Have) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Investment product development, product management or fund onboarding. Self-starter and highly motivated to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives. Strong attention to detail and able to resolve problems independently while using relevant information, sound reasoning and common senseDevelop working knowledge of investment philosophy, investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk guidelines, policies and legal structures of relevant productsSkills & Experience (Nice To Have)CMA/CFAExperience in product management in financial institutionsKnowledge of investments or investment analysis a plusComfortable using financial data and processing softwareHow will you create impact?Reporting to the Head of Investment Product, Asia, this role will be vital in the ongoing expansion and refinement of the domestic and offshore product ranges in support of our Japan Retail and Institutional business lines.
