🔧 JOB OFFER – NEEMBA | IVORY COAST – ABIDJAN – MINING PRODUCT MANAGERNeemba Group is recruiting a Mining Product Manager whose mission is to support the Neemba network and our customers throughout the sales process, machine application, and operational optimization through advanced technical and commercial expertise.He/She applies their own expertise as well as Caterpillar and industry best practices to help customers select the right equipment, maximize performance, and achieve the lowest possible cost per tonne.🎯 Your Main ResponsibilitiesCommercial Support & Product ExpertiseDeliver technical sales presentations on relevant mining products.Support sales teams during customer presentations and training sessions.Define and manage machine configurations: bucket/body sizing, wear packages, attachments.Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals for mining tenders.Use Caterpillar tools (FPC, Fpsim…) to build product proposals adapted to customer applications.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Caterpillar innovations and industry developments.Operational Studies & Productivity OptimizationConduct production studies, comparison studies, cycle time analyses, payload studies, and fuel efficiency assessments.Participate in continuous improvement projects on customer sites: machine application, productivity, data utilization, etc.Act as the reference for technologies that enhance fleet management and operational performance (Caterpillar & others).Proactively recommend improvements to reduce CPT (Cost Per Ton): loading optimization, haul road management, operator practices, etc.Manage and ensure proper use of volumetric scanning and measurement equipment.Perform Product & Application Site Assessments before, during, and after project execution.Mining Operations Analysis & Equipment SizingAnalyze and size equipment fleets for mining tenders.Review customer mine production planning data to recommend optimal equipment configurations.Maintain performance databases: fuel consumption, productivity, operating costs, etc.Collaborate with engineering firms, consultants, suppliers, and technical partners.Organize performance studies on mining sites alongside PSSR and Key Account Managers (planning, logistics, fieldwork).Training & Capability DevelopmentTrain sales teams and customers on Caterpillar mining products and machine application best practices.Act as an internal/external consultant to optimize equipment usage and adherence to maintenance and operation procedures.ReportingProvide monthly reports aligned with the department’s Mining Monthly Report.🎓 Education, Certifications & ExperienceMaster’s degree (Bac +4/5 equivalent) in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical), Product Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in the mining industry, application engineering, product support, or technical sales (experience with Caterpillar or mining OEMs is a strong advantage).Proficiency with Caterpillar tools (ET, SIS, VIMS) is a plus.🛠️ Required SkillsStrong understanding of the mining industry and its operational challenges.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Strong analytical abilities, technical problem-solving skills, and diagnostics capability.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Caterpillar tools (FPC, Fpsim…).Excellent communication skills (both technical and commercial).Ability to train, coach, and support teams and customers.Strong organizational skills, autonomy, teamwork, leadership, and customer-service mindset.Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.📍 LocationAbidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (regular travel to mining sites required)⭐ Why Join NEEMBA?Joining NEEMBA means becoming part of a multicultural group in full expansion, guided by its LIVE values: Leadership, Integrity, Vivacity creation and Exemplarity.🚀 Ready to Join the Adventure?If you are eager to put your expertise at the service of a dynamic, structured, and forward-looking group, apply now and let’s climb the peaks of Mount Nimba together!
