Job DescriptionTe Haeata/The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Advisor – Crown Entity Monitoring to join our System Performance and Monitoring team at the Ministry of Justice. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative, high performing team that monitors the performance of justice sector Crown entities and provides strategic advice to responsible managers. Your work will help strengthen public confidence in New Zealand's legal and democratic institutions by ensuring that crown entities are well governed, high-performing and aligned with government priorities. Reporting to the Manager, System Performance and Monitoring, you will:

monitor the performance and accountability of Crown entities within the justice portfolioprovide high-quality, strategic advice to responsible Ministers on governance, risk, and investmentsupport continuous improvement across Crown entities by identifying trends and opportunitiesinfluence decision-making through insightful performance analysis and advicebuild strong relationships with Ministers, boards, Chief Executives, and senior officialsŌ Pūkenga/Skills And ExperienceWe are seeking someone with a natural curiosity and eagerness to understand complex systems and improve them. To be successful in this role, you will have: a proactive approach — you take ownership of your work and act on opportunities with minimal direction.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $111,766 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
