The PR Account Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and administration of multiple PR programs simultaneously.
The Account Coordinator, PR will be responsible for the following: Support media relations efforts; personally foster relationships with key media, influencers and talent across the country and respond to requests in timely mannerResponsible for managing and maintaining media lists for the PR team; track and respond to new inquiries via websiteResponsible for sending daily coverage updates to the larger team; morning and EOD updates requiredSupport team PR team on all program-related tasks including media lists, matrixes, mailers, monitoring press, critical paths and reportsManage PR-related vendors and tools, including magazine subscriptions, MRP accounts, mailer supplies, etc.
Manage logistics for influencer programs including product fulfillment, contracts, etc. Build understanding and knowledge of the clients’ business and their competitive environmentsTrack program metrics and success and manage project reportsDemonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materialsDevelop an understanding of various research methods; coordinate resources in implementing research projectsAdhere to project timelines and meet deadlinesDrive news bureau research and monitoring to ensure relevant daily news is captured for the PR team and clientsManage team of internsPerform other duties as assigned by the senior teamSkills, Abilities and Experience:
1-2 years PR experience as a communications specialist within the consumer and lifestyle sectorsKnowledge of the Canadian media and influencer landscapeExceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage and execute a variety of PR tacticsDynamic and energeticPositive and outgoing personalityAbility to work in a collaborative, creative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of Google suite of products, MRP and MeltwaterDetail-oriented, ability to multitask and work under pressureBilingual (French and English) an assetAbout MintWe’re an independent creative agency made of culture creatures with multidisciplinary expertise across all major marketing disciplines.
