Job Description

Miryco are delighted to be partnering with a growing mortgage provider making a huge splash in the UK and European mortgage marketThey are seeking a Residential Mortgage Case Manager to support a growing mortgage team. The role involves handling pre-application enquiries, compiling complete files for underwriting, and performing checks prior to mortgage completion. While a strong understanding of the UK mortgage market is beneficial, it is not essential. Responsibilities include the assessment of documentation relating to both traditional repayment residential mortgages and equity release mortgages. This newly created position requires an individual who is hands-on with day-to-day case management.

Experience or the capability to assist in building and establishing a team as volumes increase will be advantageous. The role involves regular travel to other sites within the UK. Key Responsibilities:

Monitor cases and intervene with manual instructions to conveyancers, credit agencies, and surveyors as neededConduct pre-underwriting tasks such as flood checks, title updates, credit checks, and product validationsVerify mortgage offer documents to ensure accuracy in interest rates, loan amounts, and special conditionsReview submitted documentation including identification documents, Certificates of Title, signed offer documents, and insurance certificatesGenerate and review completion reports necessary for funding mortgage completionsLiaise with and develop strong working relationships with external contacts such as mortgage brokers, surveyors, and conveyancers, and coordinate with internal departments to obtain information or resolve queriesStay informed on developments within the UK mortgage market, including product updates, regulatory changes, and industry trendsMaintain accurate decision records in accordance with audit and compliance standardsContribute to the improvement of origination processes, internal policies, and risk management practicesPresent updates, issues, or proposed improvements to relevant committees as neededOffer support and guidance to colleagues and assist across other functions within the mortgage businessSkills & ExperienceRequired:

Demonstrated experience in reviewing, assessing, and applying documents with accuracy and diligenceStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to evaluating riskProven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectivelyExcellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skillsPreferred:
