You’ll bring deep experience in defense sustainment, operational planning, and logistics systems—along with fluency in how modern technology, AI, and data platforms are built and fielded for government users.In this role, you will translate real-world logistics challenges into scalable product capabilities that deliver measurable operational impact. You’ll design workflows, define requirements, and partner with engineering, product, and mission success teams to ensure our product directly supports users across the Department of Defense.This is a cross-functional, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of mission and technology—equally comfortable engaging with operational users, architecting systems, and driving technical execution.What You’ll DoMission & Product ArchitectureServe as the voice of the customer, translating mission-specific logistics needs into technical architectures, product features, and roadmap priorities. Lead mission design and analysis for logistics and sustainment workflows, data flows, and system dependencies. Extend and evolve the product foundation to support critical logistics operations with reliability, scalability, and mission alignment. Technical Leadership & IntegrationCollaborate with product and engineering to design, prototype, and deliver mission-relevant logistics features informed by field feedback. Define integration patterns for logistics systems and data pipelines using modern architectures (APIs, microservices, AI/ML applications). Stakeholder Engagement & Capture SupportBuild relationships with DOD logistics programs and industry partners to align emerging standards and technical requirements. Lead technical solutioning and contribute to proposal development, demonstrating thought leadership in logistics modernization. What We’re Looking ForActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required. 8+ years of experience in defense logistics, sustainment, or software/AI-enabled programs. Proven ability to develop and manage system requirements for software or AI programs in defense environments. Background as a logistics officer, systems architect, or equivalent in defense contexts. Strong understanding of doctrinal, functional, and technical logistics concepts across the Services. Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry, ADVANA) and logistics system architectures (e.g., JOPES, REPOL, GCCS-J). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate operational workflows into product and engineering actions. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup environment that embraces experimentation, learning, and mission-first execution. Bonus PointsPrior military service or deep mission-domain expertise in sustainment, supply chain, or operational planning. Experience integrating AI, data analytics, or decision-support software into DOD logistics workflows. Advanced technical degree or relevant certifications (systems engineering, architecture, or cloud).
