Our client, a well-known investment firm in Midtown, NY, is looking to add an experienced Procurement Manager to their Operations team! Responsibilities of this position include managing the day-to-day operations of all Vendor Management and Procurement functions, negotiating and processing vendor contracts, and managing firm-wide projects to improve upon existing vendor onboarding and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will come with 5-10 years of experience in managing Procurement process improvement initiatives, familiarity with Workday, and very strong communication skills. Responsibilities Include:
Handling all procurement processes including vendor onboarding, negotiating contracts, and producing vendor reports in WorkdayAssessing the firm's existing procurement operations to identify process gaps and drive change initiativesRunning projects designed to improve and automate vendor management and procurement processesRequirements: At least five years of experience in procurement operations and change management for a reputable financial services firmProficiency in Workday and Microsoft ExcelStrong communication and organizational skills
