This role will see you lead your team to deliver top-notch service and to give excellent product and DIY advice within your appointed area of expertise. You will be driving sales and merchandising across your category as well as supporting team development and creating a positive, energetic work environment.
Our Ideal Candidate Would Be/haveAt least one year of Leadership Experience in either Retail or Customer Service. A genuine interest in DIY, trade, gardening or homeware. A sound understanding of merchandising. A hands-on, can-do attitude with a knack for motivating others. Strong organisational and communication skills. A passion for assisting customers and creating authentic and exceptional customer experiences. Good time management with the ability to work to deadlines. A quick and alert mind - you need to be flexible and ready to adapt. Be a lateral thinker who can identify solutions. Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow key processes and maintain paperwork. Great verbal and written communication skills. This role is permanent fulltime, 40 hours per week performed over five days on a seven-day roster. Working one weekend day will be required.
