Garden Centre - Fixed Term

Mitre 10 continues to dominate the NZ DIY & Garden retail market through both its market share and number of stores throughout the country - you can be part of our continuing success by joining the team at Mitre 10 Whakatane. This role is within our Garden Centre where you will be recommending products, solutions, and inspiration to our customers for a range of products including indoor foliage, budding fruit trees, little baby seedlings and more with all sorts of garden care queries along the way. Your daily duties will include:

Assisting customers with plant selection, gardening advice, and product recommendationsMaintaining healthy plant stock and tidy displaysUnloading and stocking all the new goodies that arrive in storeIs a keen gardener ready to share their knowledgeHas the ability to work within a team environment as well as aloneIs physically fit as there will be prolonged standing and ladder use.
