该职位来源于猎聘 Job ResponsibilityFacilitate the transition of styles from design concept to a final, production-ready sample;Collaborate with Designers, Merchandisers, Patternmakers, Sewing team, Quality Assurance and Factory team, to ensure all quality requirements are met;Research and resolve fit, pattern, construction issues and finishing methods;Prepare & maintain block patterns library and present seasonal category fits to designers and product developers;Provide guidance on the development of any new fits, based on approved blocks ;Hold daily fit sessions, evaluate samples to ensure design details, pattern and make standards are being met;Give directions to pattern makers and sewers, regarding fit, construction and finishing changes;Approve samples to proceed to the production phase after a thorough evaluation of fit, measurement, pattern construction, hanger appeal, and functionality;Ensure design development, fabric and garment testing, pre-production and production requirements are met for timely delivery of quality garments;Communicate clear and accurate technical information in packs to the factory;Keep up to date with industry developments such as new fabric construction, techniques and processing .QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in either of: Design, Clothing, Textiles, Patternmaking, or a related field of study, or equivalent functional experience;More than 6 years of experience in technical design, garment technology and/or patternmaking;Working knowledge of garment construction standards and manufacturing methods;Self-motivated, attention to detail, initiative, good communication skills, able to both lead and work within a supportive team;Fashion and trends awareness;Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternate solutions;Excellent computer skills;Spoken languages: English and/or Chinese.
