This role is ideal for a proactive, personable, solutions-focused and ambitious AML professional seeking to further develop their career in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, expanding organisation.ResponsibilitiesServe as the RC for selected funds of both the AIFM/management company and/or stand-alone RC mandates.Act as the first point of escalation for AML-related issues from various stakeholders, including the AML Client Services team, funds' service providers, and the fund boards.Review the KPIs received from relevant internal and external stakeholders.Perform Due Diligence on those stakeholders. Prepare reports for the relevant fund boards.Monitor and disseminate legal and regulatory updates relating to AML/CFT matters, ensuring boards are kept informed.Manage compliance with AML/CFT laws and regulations across all relevant funds.Review and approve annual Risk Assessments and quarterly RC/MLRO reports.Serve as the main contact with relevant supervisory authorities.Maintain and foster strong internal and external / client relationships.Participate in client pitches to promote the RC service, as required.Attend client pitches to promote the RC service as appropriate.Horizon-scan and analyse rules affecting the AIFM/management company business to ensure compliance and uphold a strong compliance culture.Play a key role in the continuous development of the RC / MLRO service and supporting the overall program of work, while maintaining and fostering strong client relationships.RequirementsA minimum of 8 years' experience working with Luxembourg domiciled Funds within an AML/KYC capacity or prior experience working as an MLRO within the Funds industry.University degree or equivalent, ideally with relevant compliance or legal qualifications.Deep knowledge of AML/CTF legislation and regulations for Luxembourg domiciled funds.Proven experience liaising with relevant supervisory and regulatory authorities.Proven ability to successfully influence and manage internal and stakeholder relationships.Proven experience in performing KYA due diligence.Oversee, approve and escalate financial crime concerns.Ability to travel to Luxembourg occasionally as required.Eligibility for CSSF approval to act as RC.
